With many crazy inventions, evil plans, and lots of laughs, this book is perfect for fans who love adventure, comics, and heartwarming stories. But true question is will Dog Man clear his name and find out where he belongs? You must read to find out! 

This book is one of my favorite ones to read after a hard day. It surprises me by how well made it is and how humorous it is. Many people say reading Dog Man is childish but it truly isnt. I feel like it makes me look back to those days I would get home from school and just sit down and read Dog Man and how joyful it made me feel. I really enjoy this book and hopefully so will you. :]

    This is a really nostalgic! I remember reading this is in kindergarten-first grade.

    Yeah, this whole series should be for anyone to read, not just kids :) There are so many layers beneath the surface of jokes and comics, like I'm pretty sure Pilkey's neurodivergent, so the fact that he's so successful is a testimony in itself. The older you get and the broader you look, the more you see these connections and realize it's about a lot more than what you see. Labeling these as childish is more childish than the books themselves, because that's such a narrow-minded way to see the world.

    Dog man is one of those books that no matter at what age you read they will always be funny and enjoyable.

    I remember dog man as being a silly kids book, but the newer ones feel a little less childish. Def one of my fav graphic novels that I read as a kid

  Kill Joy- by Holly Jackson I've loved Holly Jackson's mysteries since I was in 7th grade, so when I saw that she made a prequel to her famous A Good Girl's Guide to Murder , I checked it out as soon as I could.  The story follows a school-obsessed Pip, taking place in her senior year before looking into the city's tragedy of Andie Bell. In this prequel, she attends a murder mystery party her friend Connor set up for their friend group. We are introduced to characters seen earlier in the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series, and the contrast of the younger, more naïve teens to the later scarred victims and perpetrators. Through the murder mystery party, Pip finds out her passion for detective work, even through the silly set-up and clues set for them. As the name suggests, it’s an investment guide aimed to teach young readers everything from what a stock is to evaluating one using a Price to Earnings Ratio (P/E).  When I first started the book I was concerned that it was going to be overly dense and I would lose interest within a few pages.
