I 'fell in love' with this series very quickly (Haha get it? because it's about cupids?) and  I cannot recommend any other series more. Even though it's a work in progress, the pure amount of potential it has makes it hold a 'special place in my heart' (I'm sorry that's the last joke I swear).

Love Bullet is set in a world where people who never fall in love take on the role of cupids after they die (given to them by the Goddess of love). Cupids take on missions to make people fall in love and create couples, and Love Bullet shows this by having the cupids use guns, grenades, and other firearms with heart bullets to do so. Every mission taken gives the cupid a karma point, and collecting 500 grants them the ability to be reborn into the real world. This starts competition between cupids, each wanting their own escape for different reasons.
The main character (Koharu), known for her matchmaking skills, becomes a cupid because of a freak accident after being confessed to by her best friend (Aki. Remember her, she's important later). As Koharu died, she realized that she truly did want "to fall in love after all," leaving a grieving Aki on her own. 
5 YEARS PASS while Koharu is being transformed into a cupid. Aki is now a 20-year-old college student, crawling with admirers she isn't interested in. 
Koharu is taken under the wing of the cupids, and plans to get the required karma points to come back into the human world and reunite with Aki. I'm going to leave it off here because if I keep on talking about the plot, I'm going to spoil a lot and that's less fun for you guys.
I recommend everyone to read this series from the bottom of my heart. The adorable art style mixed with the heavy firearms topped off with an incredibly interesting interpretation of cupids has kept me bound to these books from start to finish. Also, the way hearts are incorporated in almost everything relating to the cupids?? Absolutely delightful. 
This has become one of my all-time favorite series, and anyone reading this should expect future updates for when the 3rd volume is released (that is, if the series doesn't go bankrupt and get cancelled).

  Kill Joy- by Holly Jackson I've loved Holly Jackson's mysteries since I was in 7th grade, so when I saw that she made a prequel to her famous A Good Girl's Guide to Murder , I checked it out as soon as I could.  The story follows a school-obsessed Pip, taking place in her senior year before looking into the city's tragedy of Andie Bell. In this prequel, she attends a murder mystery party her friend Connor set up for their friend group. We are introduced to characters seen earlier in the A Good Girl's Guide to Murder series, and the contrast of the younger, more naïve teens to the later scarred victims and perpetrators. Through the murder mystery party, Pip finds out her passion for detective work, even through the silly set-up and clues set for them. I'm not going to spoil anything, but Pip threads together a more grand, outlandish solution to the mystery than what was actually prepared.                                                               The Motley Fool Investment Guide for Teens The Motley Fool Investment Guide for Teens is a long and silly name for a not-terribly-long but somewhat silly book. As the name suggests, it’s an investment guide aimed to teach young readers everything from what a stock is to evaluating one using a Price to Earnings Ratio (P/E).  When I first started the book I was concerned that it was going to be overly dense and I would lose interest within a few pages.
